landed in the u.k.

victor aliyah and i have finally made it to newark, a couple hours north of london, to visit nadia, omeed, iman and jamilah. victor and nadia's mother is here as well, so that's a special bonus of this trip. needless to say, aliyah is having the time of her life with her cousins. they are playing non-stop and exploring each other's personalities ... and limits. ;) we've been spending the last few days going to towns around the area and checking out beautiful attractions like cathedrals and villas and gardens. everywhere we've gone there have been nice places for the kids to play so they've been enjoying themselves as well.
tomorrow victor and his mom leave for canada where they will visit relatives... aliyah and i will stay here and return to haifa next friday... victor will join us the following week.
coming back here i'm reminded of the serenity and peacefulness of newark and this part of england. life seems so relaxed. the grass is lush and green. the weather is chilly, but the sun (we're lucky to see it so often here) is warm. the towns are quaint and its people so polite. definitely a nice break from haifa...
