it just occured to me that the months september-december start with the latin roots for the numbers seven through ten: sept-, oct-, nov-, and dec. and september would be the 7th month of the year, if the year started in march, which it does for certain calendars, including the baha'i calendar.... i suppose it might have for the romans as well... interesting.

on the 12th day of ridvan, victor, aliyah and i joined a group of friends for a bbq picnic at a beautiful national park with lakes and waterfalls called sakhne... it was so nice to be in the water, let aliyah run around and play in such a beautiful setting with great friends.more pics can be seen by clicking the photo linked to my flickr.
